Privacy Policy
This policy explains how WebTownship handles information submitted through the website, project enquiries, review forms and other website interactions, together with the service providers used to operate the site.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the WebTownship website and public website features that link to it. It covers information provided through project-enquiry forms, review submissions, offer or newsletter subscriptions when enabled, and ordinary technical information generated when the website is used.
Separate contractual or client-project privacy obligations may also apply where WebTownship processes information for a client under a signed agreement.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on the feature you use, WebTownship may collect information such as your name, work email address, optional phone number, company or organisation, service or project type, preferred timeline, project brief, review content, publication consent and other information you voluntarily provide.
The website may also retain source information used to understand how an enquiry reached us, such as the page submitted from and campaign or UTM parameters. Security and operational systems may process limited technical information needed to protect the website, prevent abuse, maintain sessions and troubleshoot errors.
3. How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, assess project fit, prepare follow-up communication, deliver requested services, administer client or website operations, moderate reviews, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues and comply with applicable legal or contractual obligations.
We do not treat a project enquiry as permission to add the sender to a marketing list. Marketing or offer emails are sent only where a user has separately subscribed or another lawful basis applies.
4. Project enquiries & public forms
Project enquiries are stored in the WebTownship website's administrative system so the team can review and respond to them. The website may use anti-spam controls, submission fingerprints, validation and rate limiting to reduce automated abuse and duplicate submissions.
Public review submissions are kept private until they are moderated. If a review is approved for publication, only the approved public fields are shown; private contact details used for verification are not intentionally displayed with the review.
6. Email communications & offer subscriptions
WebTownship may use email to reply to project enquiries, send operational messages relating to a request or project, and send acknowledgements where configured. Email delivery may use Google/Gmail SMTP infrastructure.
If you separately subscribe to WebTownship offers or marketing updates, the subscription may be used to send occasional campaign, festival, service or launch-offer messages. Such communications should include an unsubscribe method, and unsubscribed contacts should not continue receiving marketing messages from that subscription.
7. Hosting & service providers
The website is hosted using Hostinger infrastructure. Website and application data may therefore be processed or stored on infrastructure operated by Hostinger and its underlying service providers, subject to their applicable terms and security practices.
Google/Gmail infrastructure may be used for outbound website email. Other service providers may be used where necessary for domains, backups, security, cloud infrastructure, APIs or project delivery. WebTownship should limit provider access to what is reasonably needed for the relevant service.
9. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, maintaining business records, handling ongoing projects, preventing abuse, meeting contractual obligations and complying with legal, tax or accounting requirements.
Retention periods may differ by record type. Data that is no longer needed should be deleted, anonymized or archived in accordance with operational and legal requirements.
10. Security
WebTownship uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect website and administrative data, including access controls, secure sessions, encrypted transport when HTTPS is enabled, security headers, validation, rate limiting and restricted administrative access.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid submitting passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary secrets through general public enquiry forms.
11. Your privacy choices
You may contact WebTownship to ask about personal information you previously submitted, request correction or deletion where applicable, or opt out of marketing communications. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, contractual, accounting, fraud-prevention or security purposes.
Marketing recipients can use the unsubscribe method included in the relevant message or contact WebTownship directly.
12. Questions about privacy
For privacy-related questions, correction or deletion requests, contact WebTownship at info@webtownship.com.
